This is my first entry for the I Heart Faces photo challenge. The theme this week is "Anything But a Face." It may be cliche to use a photo of a bride's hands, but this is a meaningful photo to me. This is my sister-in-law and good friend. It was my first time taking photos of a bride. She absolutely loves pink tulips so they had to be showcased in a photo. I love the details of her "fireworks" dress. The ring is a vital part, of course. These are the hands of a real person. Finally, the color cast and tone, including the way she is holding her hands, feels peaceful to me.
